Harry was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. He graduated from Walter Hines Page High School in 1992. He attended Francis Marion University in Florence, SC, on a basketball scholarship in the Fall of 1992. Harry graduated from FMU in 1997 with a B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry. After working in a laboratory for 2 years, he received his first professional basketball contract in 1999 to play in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in Canada where Darryl Dawkins was the Head Coach. This would be the start of his professional basketball career, which lasted for several years. Harry was fortunate to live and play in Winnipeg, Canada; Amsterdam, Holland; Bilbao, Spain; Cornella, Spain; Wonju, S. Korea; Aveiro, Portugal; Tijuana, Mexico; Doha, Qatar; and Wilmington, NC. Playing abroad for several years in various countries has been instrumental with Harry's intellectual development. He gained invaluable experience learning to live with so many different people in various cultures and communities around the world.

After his professional basketball career, Harry was in retail management until 2014. During this time, he obtained his MBA in Healthcare Administration from Kaplan University in 2014. When his internship with Cone Health Systems ended after 3 months, Harry began his career in financial services with Mass Mutual in 2015. From the knowledge he has gained over the years in the financial services industry, he founded A Better Life Financial Group in March 2022. Harry established a mandate to build long-term trust with clients by giving them the best advice, educating them in financial literacy, & client-first customer service. The company was built on the philosophies of integrity, relationship nurturing, and dedication to the community. To add more value to the services he provides, Harry obtained his certification to become an Accredited Trust Fiduciary Advisor in June 2023.

Harry has specialized in working with entrepreneurs, small business owners, & professionals in the greater Greensboro area. Since the pandemic sparked a huge movement of people meeting virtually, this has allowed Harry the opportunity to reach the same spectrum of clients across the country from California to Texas, Florida, New York, and several states in between. He is passionate about working with his clients to better understand their goals & financial situations. Harry believes that by uncovering their goals & identifying the potential challenges they may face, he is able to map-out the best route to assist his clients to their financial destination.

When Harry is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys working out, playing basketball, and traveling. He is licensed in NC, SC, VA, MD, DC, DE, NY, GA, FL, MI, TN, OK, AL, MS, TX, LA, CA, and AZ.
